Meet Amey
I am Amey Fields of Az Breastfed Babies LLC and I am an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and a labor and delivery nurse with over 20 years of experience helping moms and babies with breastfeeding.
I am a wife and mother. My husband Steven retired from the United States Coast Guard in 2016 after serving for 30 years. He is my biggest supporter and when he is not helping me he is always helping someone else.
I have three children, Callahan, Emma, and Conner. Each one of my birth experiences have been very different and each one has shaped me to be the nurse I am today. I have experienced a natural birth with a midwife, a hospital birth with an OB, and a Cesarean birth for a persistent breech baby!
I started working as a labor and delivery nurse in 1998 and in 2010 I was given the opportunity to run the community education department at the hospital I was working at. I became Lamaze certified and began teaching childbirth and newborn care classes to expectant parents. In addition to working as a labor nurse in the hospital setting, I have also assisted with home births and spent 2 years working at a free-standing birth center. In 2011 I started a wonderful postpartum support group called Circle of Mothers that I still offer as a free weekly group today.
My main focus is helping moms and babies with breastfeeding. Thank you for visiting my website. Please click on the links above and/ or contact me for more information on consults, classes, and support groups.
I am also pet friendly so do not hesitate to let your friendly pets say hi if I come to your home for a consult!
Meet Aida
My name is Aida and I am a wife and mama to three amazing boys. I have been a nurse for 13 years, I spent 9 years in labor and delivery and have been an IBCLC for 2 years now. I work as a hospital lactation consultant and out in the community. My passion for helping mamas and babies breastfeed began when I struggled with breastfeeding my own babies. I never imagined something so natural could be so difficult! My goal is educate and guide mothers during their breastfeeding journey. The best part of my job is getting to meet and connect with families and seeing them grow into confident and empowered parents!
Meet Amber
My name is Amber, IBCLC, RN, BSN. My nursing background is primarily in the NICU, and I currently work in Labor & Delivery, where I specialize in caring for newborns immediately after birth.
I am a mother of two boys, ages 3 and 9, and mom dog to a golden retriever puppy, Chester. My passion for lactation began nine years ago following my own breastfeeding journey with my oldest son. Like many families, we faced significant early challenges, and I was struck by the lack of consistent support both in the hospital and after discharge. It was only through the help of a dedicated family member that we were able to meet our goals. That experience opened my eyes to how common these struggles are and inspired me to provide better, more compassionate support to families in my community. My goal is to ensure that no parent feels unsupported, regardless of what their feeding journey looks like.
One of the most rewarding aspects of being an IBCLC is supporting families in achieving success on their own terms—whether that means exclusively breastfeeding, pumping, or combination feeding. While food allergies are not my primary specialty, my personal experience navigating these challenges with both of my children allows me to deeply empathize with and support families facing similar concerns.
I have a particular interest in helping families manage oversupply, pumping, and the transition back to work. I am also passionate about trauma-informed care and am currently working toward a certification in maternal and infant mental health.
Originally from Portland, Oregon, I have called Arizona home for the past four years. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my boys, whether exploring nature or relaxing by the pool.
Meet Clare
I’m Clare Markham and I’m a Registered Dietitian and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. My background in nutrition sparked my interest in lactation when I worked in a pediatric clinic and saw the difficulties parents had breastfeeding their babies. All I wanted to do was help bring them closer to meeting their feeding goals.
As a dietitian, I’m used to looking at health as a “whole picture.” I apply the same approach when helping with lactation and feeding goals. I work with you to guide your feeding journey in a judgment-free space. Besides lactation education, my nutrition background allows me to help keep you and your baby healthy through life’s many stages.
Outside of work, I’m also a wife and mom to 3 beautiful kids: a daughter in preschool and infant twin boys. I’m originally from rural Minnesota where I grew up on the family farm; now I’m a mom figuring out how to parent in city life.
Meet Danika
Hi I'm Danika Berry! I love being with moms and babies and have a passion for education and breastfeeding. I have been a postpartum nurse, nursing instructor, and now I am a lactation consultant. It is an honor to get to see families and hopefully make an impact in their journey.
I live in central Phoenix in an old historic house with my husband, three crazy kids, and black golden doodle. We love going on walks in our neighborhood, going to church, and working on never ending projects for our house.
Meet Erin
Hi! My name is Erin Fyffe, I’m an RN and IBCLC and I have over 22 years of experience working with new moms and babies. I started as a CNA in post partum and over the past 20 years I’ve worked as a full time RN in Post partum, Antepartum (even did a short stint in home care) and have been working full time as an IBCLC for the past 11 years.
I’m a wife and a mother of two children, and we have 3 dogs at home who are beloved members of our family. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and have lived in Arizona for the past 26 years. I love pets, and always look forward to meeting yours! Learning to breastfeed for the first time was so much harder than I could have ever imagined. We struggled with latching issues and pain for weeks, but I was very determined to figure this out, and went on to successfully breastfeed each of my children for 2 years. Breastfeeding quickly became the most difficult and also most rewarding thing I’ve ever done and will forever be the one achievement I’m most proud of.
Going through that struggle lit a fire in me that I never knew existed. I vowed to myself to one day find a way to be that help and advocate that I didn’t have when I was struggling to learn to feed my baby. My goal is to help prevent other moms from going through what I did and to help them enjoy their babies and their feeding journey.
I find it so rewarding being able to help moms reach their goals (whatever they may be), help empower them, help them lean into their instincts as a mom, and help them be able find joy in feeding their babies without having to go through the pain and stress that so many experience. I’m so incredibly honored and humbled by the opportunity to be able to play a small role in a new mom and baby’s feeding journey.
Meet Grace
My name is Grace Wilcock, and I am a Licensed Practical Nurse and an IBCLC. Since obtaining my Nursing license in 2017, I have specialized in family care, naturopathic IV therapy, and worked closely with underserved communities in Arizona. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my family, diving into craft projects—though I rarely finish them—and participating in a monthly book club!
As a mother to a nearly 3-year-old boy, I am deeply committed to supporting families in finding the best personal paths for nourishing their littles. Initially uncertain about my own breastfeeding journey, I never thought I would be able to make it past four weeks. However; with the support of a lactation consultant, friends and family, and setting small goals, I am proud to say I’m still breastfeeding!
Meet Hailey
Hi! I’m Hailey Justl, a registered nurse and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I graduated from the University of Arizona in 2018 with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and have been working in Labor and Delivery ever since. Supporting moms with breastfeeding has always been one of my favorite parts of my job, which led me to pursue becoming an IBCLC—one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!
I’ve lived in Arizona most of my life and truly love calling the desert home. I’m married to my college sweetheart, and we have a sweet one-year-old boy, Chase. We also have two goofy golden retrievers, Jack and Blue—so if you have pets, I would love to meet them during a home visit!
Like many moms, I’ve had my own breastfeeding challenges, and I know firsthand how overwhelming it can feel. With the support I received, I was able to work through those moments—and that experience inspired me even more to support other families with compassion and understanding.
My goal is to help you feel confident, supported, and never alone in your journey. Whether things are going smoothly or feel a little uncertain, I’m here to guide you, answer your questions, and cheer you on every step of the way. I am especially passionate about newborn feeding difficulties, flange fitting and comprehensively looking at mom and baby as two puzzle pieces that work together. It is truly an honor to be part of this special time in your life and to watch your little one grow!
Meet Heather
Hi! I’m Heather Bingham, RN, IBCLC. I’ve spent more than 20 years supporting new families as a labor and delivery nurse, and several years ago I expanded my work by becoming a lactation consultant. I love being part of both worlds — the excitement and intensity of the birth room and the quieter, transformative moments that happen as parents learn how to feed and care for their new baby.
I provide in-home lactation support with a focus on helping parents understand their newborn’s cues and build a confident, trusting relationship with their baby. The first few weeks can feel overwhelming, and I love walking alongside families through those early challenges — and continuing to support them if bumps come up later in their feeding journey.
When I’m not working with families, you’ll find me laughing with my three teenage sons, soaking up the quiet beauty of the desert near my home, or getting lost in a really good audiobook.
Meet Jayme
Hello! I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, a Registered Nurse, and a momma to three sweet and spicy littles.
My dream ever since I was young was to be a mother-baby nurse. Through that experience and my own breastfeeding journeys (all significantly different and beautiful and challenging in their own ways) I have become passionate about teaming up with moms to help navigate and encourage them throughout their feeding journey. It is a dream job and such and honor to walk with you through the adjustments of life with a new baby and offer encouragement and problem solving for the difficulties you may be experiencing with feeding goals.
Though not born and raised here in Arizona, my husband and I call this our home after moving here from the Midwest 10 years ago. We love the ability to be outside exploring in the winter and spring and you will catch us surviving the summers with lots of travel to places not nearly as hot!
Meet Kat
My passion for lactation support began with my own experience as a first-time mother in 2006. I struggled with breastfeeding and low milk supply at a time when very few resources existed for families after leaving the hospital. Without proper support, I developed severe nipple trauma, engorgement, and mastitis. When I returned to work just eight weeks after giving birth, I didn’t know how to maintain my milk supply, and within two weeks it had completely dried up.
At the time, I was a newly graduated nurse working on a medical-surgical unit and knew very little about breastfeeding and lactation. My experience opened my eyes to how critical education and support are for new mothers, and it ultimately inspired me to become a lactation nurse so I could help families receive the guidance I didn’t have.
During visits, I love focusing not just on the baby, but also on the mother. She is learning a completely new skill while her body is healing—often with little sleep and sometimes while experiencing pain. I enjoy helping mothers recognize how incredible they are and supporting them as they navigate their feeding goals. My work often includes helping families through early breastfeeding challenges and supporting infants with suspected food sensitivities.
I’ve been married to the love of my life since 2006 and am a proud mom of two daughters. In the summer, our family loves traveling to different countries—often choosing destinations based on our favorite cuisines.
Meet Lauren G
I was born in Canada and moved here after highschool. I can speak two languages. I learned French from kinder to 9th grade living in Canada, but haven't used it so I don't remember a lot. I'm fluent in Tagalog which is the primary language of the Philippines.
I had a poor breastfeeding experience with my first. I tried seeking help but was turned away at the hospital and outpatient. I felt horrible and decided I need to help other mothers. I went to nursing school to specifically become RN lactation. Once I starting working in postpartum, I knew instantly that l've made the right decision. I love helping and supporting families.
Meet Lauren M
Hi, I’m Lauren Murdock! I’m a wife, mama, and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant with nearly 10 years of experience as a Labor & Delivery nurse. I hold a Master’s in Nursing Education and am nationally certified in inpatient obstetrics (RNC-OB). After walking through my own challenges with breastfeeding, I developed a deep passion for helping other moms feel supported, equipped, and confident in their feeding journey.
I love teaching childbirth classes and empowering families with practical tools and grace-filled encouragement. When I’m not talking all things birth and babies, you’ll find me camping with my family, playing tennis, or enjoying game night with friends.
Meet Lauren N
Hi, my name is Lauren N. I’m a nurse and an IBCLC. I’ve been a nurse since 2015 and have worked mostly in labor and delivery/postpartum. I’m a wife and have three littles, including twins, whom were all breastfed with their own challenges.
I started my nursing career in a very small hospital where there were not many resources and lots of moms struggled to breastfeed. My goal after seeing the defeat in so many of these moms was to become an IBCLC. I have learned so much and love that I get to share this knowledge by helping moms and babies on their breastfeeding journey through AZ Breastfed Babies.
Meet Laurynn
Hi I’m Laurynn, RN,BSN, IBCLC. I’ve been a labor and delivery nurse since 2015. A couple of years later, I began my lactation journey as a certified lactation counselor so I could better support new moms at the very start of their feeding journey. From there, I knew wanted to become an IBCLC!
I especially love working with brand new babies—meeting them in those first days of life and watching both mom and baby grow together. I’m also passionate about oral function, flange fitting, and bottle introduction. My favorite part about being an IBCLC is supporting families during such a vulnerable time and watching them overcome challenges while building confidence. It’s an honor to witness.
I was born and raised in the south suburbs of Chicago, where most all of my (large) family still lives. I moved to Arizona for a travel nursing contract in 2019 and never left. I now live in north Phoenix with my husband and our son.
I know firsthand that this journey can be both incredibly rewarding and incredibly hard—and you’re never alone in it.
Meet Sanni
Hi my name is Sanni Estes. I have been a Registered Nurse since 2008 and a Labor & Delivery Nurse since 2016.I am originally from Germany and went to nursing school in Ludwisgburg, Germany where I graduated.
Over there I have worked at an OB physicians office as well as on a med. surgical floor in the hospital. I moved to Arizona in 2014 where I worked towards transferring my RN licence and temporary worked at a free standing birthing center in Phoenix before I was hired in Labor & Delivery by Honorhealth at Scottsdale Shea where my passion to help families with breastfeeding became more and more important to me.
My husband Tyler and I have 5 wonderful children. We have 3 kids that were born in Germany, and our two youngest have been born here in the US. My husband Tyler is a native Arizonan and works in Sales. He has been my biggest supporter when it comes to my journey to become an IBCLC which I am very thankful for. As a family we love to play with our dog in our backyard, go camping and hiking. We also love to travel, as visiting my family in Germany will also always be part of our lives.
I am so excited for the opportunity to work as an IBCLC and be part of the wonderful AZ Breastfed Babies Team. I am very passionate and happy to help families with their breastfeeding journey and cannot wait to grow more in doing the most wonderful job ever!
Meet Sarah
I'm Sarah, owner of MilkSprouts. I started my career as a Registered Nurse, working in various nursing fields before earning my Master's in Interpersonal Relations (think counseling!). My own breastfeeding journey with my first child changed everything, leading me to become an IBCLC in 2018. Since then, I've worked as an IBCLC both in the hospital and through my private practice, MilkSprouts, where my small team and I support families virtually worldwide and in-person in the Indianapolis area.
I have a special passion for breastfeeding education, pumping (I was an exclusive pumper with my first!), oral function, and helping moms return to work with confidence. I'm honored to walk alongside families as they navigate feeding their babies.
Meet Saundra
Saundra Rozenboom, IBCLC, supports families with breast and bottle feeding as an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant. Her interest in lactation began during her own feeding journeys, when the support of skilled IBCLCs made a lasting difference with each of her three children. After nearly two decades working in higher education, Saundra felt called to maternal health. While she initially considered becoming a midwife or doula, she quickly realized the on-call life wasn’t for her—and that lactation care was exactly where she belonged. She completed her lactation training through the Edison College of Nursing at Arizona State University, including 500 clinically supervised hours in hospitals, private practices, tongue-tie clinics, and ASU’s free maternal support clinic.
Saundra is known for her relaxed, informative approach and playful sense of humor—she’s even infamous for reminding families that babies often prefer “boob buffet all day.” She takes a gentle, hands-off approach, using verbal coaching to help parents learn how to latch and position their babies. Her care plans are practical and focused, usually just a few clear steps families can implement right away. Her areas of interest include prenatal education, bottle refusal, and toddler weaning.
Outside of work, Saundra is a wife and homeschooling mom to three energetic boys. She enjoys long-distance running and is currently pursuing her Six Star Medal through the World Marathon Majors.
Meet Sydney
I’m Sydney, RN, BSN. I am a nurse pursing my IBCLC certification. I have over 15 years of childcare experience as a babysitter and nanny, combined with a clinical nursing background in pediatric home health, med-surg, and labor & delivery. My passion for breastfeeding support grew in L&D, where I helped mothers navigate through the difficulties of labor and breastfeeding. I loved walking along side mothers during those precious first hours of motherhood. In 2022, I left hospital nursing to nanny full time for a wonderful family allowing me to continue providing deeply personal, family centered care.
I specialize in empowering mothers through evidence-based lactation support and creating personalized feeding plans that equip them to meet their goals while honoring the realities of motherhood. I enjoy helping parents feel confident, capable and connected to their babies!
I live in central Phoenix with my husband and two mini-aussiedoodles. I’m passionate about interior design and can usually be found tackling a new DIY project in my free time-while secretly dreaming of restoring a French chateau someday! I also love discovering cozy local coffee shops and restaurants, baking homemade treats for friends, and enjoying the outdoors (trips to canyon lake are my favorite!)
Meet Whitney
I’m the Chief Organizer and Social Media Manager for AZ Breastfed Babies. I am a wife and mama to a beautiful baby girl. My career started in television news. I spent five years working as a sports anchor and morning news reporter.
When my husband’s career brought us from Iowa to Phoenix, Arizona in 2020, I decided to step away from the TV newsroom and shift into freelance work as a video and audio editor, producer, and social media manager. I welcomed my daughter in February 2025. Like many new parents, my feeding journey didn’t start the way I expected. She wasn’t able to latch for the first five days, and that’s when I found AZ Breastfed Babies. With the help of this incredible team, I was able to successfully exclusively breastfeed for 12 months and counting—and it sparked a deep passion in me for lactation support and parent education.
Today, I help keep things running behind the scenes at AZ Breastfed Babies. I organize classes and events at Bump to Baby AZ, design flyers and educational materials, and manage our websites and social media. I love helping us reach more families and hopefully playing a small role in connecting parents with the support and information they need to make the best decisions for their babies and themselves. When I’m not juggling work while being home with my daughter, you can usually find me at a sporting event, trying a new restaurant, or anywhere near water—preferably a pool or a boat.
