Circle of Mothers

We are currently holding the Circle of Mothers virtually every Tuesday at 10:00 am Arizona time. Please email amey@azbreastfedbabies.com for the Zoom link.

The group will resume in person when it is safe to do so.

Circle of Mothers will meet again in person on Tuesday from 10-11:30am at The Motherhood Co. in Phoenix soon. stay tuned.

  • Free ($5 donation is welcome)

  • Expecting moms & moms with babies from birth to 4 months

  • casual and there is no late

  • bottle and/or breastfed babies welcome

  • no older siblings please

  • registration is not needed

This is a great group to get breast-feeding support but is open to all moms and babies, breast-feeding is not a requirement.
Casual group setting to discuss challenges and victories with your new role as a mother and a safe place for new mothers create friendships and community.
Breast-feeding advice is available from IBCLC’s (Internationally Board-Certified Lactation Consultant)so questions can be answered, but assessments cannot be done during the group, this includes looking in a baby’s mouth.


It’s very important to keep this group a safe place for new babies. If you or your child have any cold or flu symptoms, including, but not limited to, a cough, congestion, fever, or runny nose, please wait until the symptoms have been completely gone for at least 48 hours. Thank you!

Prenatal Breastfeeding Class

for expecting couples

One of our favorite things to do is to teach the prenatal breastfeeding class to expecting couples.
This class is held at The Motherhood Co.
In this fun and interactive class you will learn:

  • How to get breastfeeding off to a great start

  • What to expect during the first week

  • How to be prepared for breastfeeding before the birth of the baby

  • Tools to prepare your partner to confidently support you

    Registration is required- $75 per couple- any support person welcome

  • Classes are held at The Motherhood Co in Phoenix

  • 10:00am-1pm

  • Classes in 2020

    These classes fill up quickly.
    Because the class size is small and there is often a wait list there is a 50% refund for cancelations if canceled the week of the class and no refund if canceled 48 hours before the class.

Breastfeeding Class for Birth Workers

This is a 3 hour class that qualifies as a requirement for doula certification.

This class is held at The Motherhood Co. in Phoenix.

In this fun and interactive class you will learn:
Breast anatomy
Breastmilk production
Breastfeeding challenges
How to help the families get breastfeeding off to a great start.
What parents can expect during the first week.
Help families prepared for breastfeeding before the birth of the baby.
When to refer out for help.

Please bring a doll to class. A Build a Bear type stuffed toy will work as well.
Come with questions.
Wear something comfortable.

Registration is required- $40
